2004 Subaru Forester XT Conversion – IAG Short Block

Nearing 200k miles of enjoyment, Austin's extremely clean 2004 Subaru Forester XT clone was ready for a refresh. Previously swapped with a EJ255, it was time for round 3, with a simple goal in mind: aim for 300+awhp and build it for longevity and reliability. With a plan set in place, Andrew got to work creating the ultimate daily-driven combo, a 2004 EJ257-swapped Forester littered with STI bits, a setup prized by the lot of Subaru enthusiasts.

With the mechanical work wrapped up by Andrew in the shop, Matt strapped her down to the rollers for Vlad to perform a custom calibration via COBB Tuning's Accessport V3. With 93 octane in the tank, Vlad increased the EJ257's output to 313.88awhp & 327.35lbft! Solid results for a killer daily driver!
