All the way from New York, Chris brought us his Renaissance Red 1994 Toyota Supra for some attention!
Up first in the shop, Louis installed an AEM Performance Electronics Infinity 506 including a 70mm drive-by-wire throttle body & pedal assembly conversion designed by Vlad, AEM IAT, 3.5bar MAP sensor, 150psig oil pressure sensor, 100psig fuel pressure sensor, 3-port electronic boost control solenoid, Bosch 4.2LSU UEGO oxygen sensor, ethanol content sensor to enable Flex Fuel, along with an Infinity integrated 3.5" touch screen gauge from BTI Gauges for data acquisition as well as 4-position boost control.
From there, he moved on to installing the dual Walbro 450lph in-tank fuel pumps utilizing components from Powerhouse Racing along with some updates to the setup & wiring (for AEM Infinity to control second fuel pump activation), ID1300X fuel injectors from Injector Dynamics, all topped off with a new 6766 turbocharger from Precision Turbo & Engine, fitted with some custom fabrication to the compressor cover outlet.
With the work wrapped in the shop, John strapped her down to the rollers for Vlad to perform a custom Flex Fuel calibration, complete with fuel pressure, MAP sensor, and oil pressure fail safes enabled. With the PTE6766 delivering 18psi and 93 octane in the tank, Vlad increased output to 626.13whp & 547.12lbft -- solid pump gas performance! Then, with E85 in the tank, Vlad increased output to 773.11whp & 664.01lbft at 27psi! While there is plenty more in this setup, we reached our torque comfort level for a stock 2JZ-GTE bottom end, so we decided to cap it there.
