Qaise's 2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road came to us as a solid street & trail rig, equipped with Icon Vehicle Dynamics suspension, rock sliders, 285/70R17 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W E-load tires, and other high-quality components. But it was missing one big thing: MORE POWER! And that's exactly what our Stage-1 supercharger package brings to the underwhelming 4.0L 1GR-FE, featuring the Magnuson Superchargers Roller Rocker TVS1320 supercharger system.
With the mechanical work wrapped up in the shop by Mike, John strapped her down to the rollers for post-work dyno pulls. With the Magnuson TVS1320 delivering ~6psi, output was increased to a nice square 306.15whp & 305.60lbft -- a gain of 70whp & 45lbft at peak over the baseline of 236.92whp & 251.28lbft, with over 70lbft picked up in the mid range! That'll definitely give Qaise's 4Runner more usable performance for both the daily commute and the weekend trail runs.
