Gil's Torch Red 2001 Chevrolet Corvette is in the shop to get transformed into an unsuspecting naturally aspirated killer! Up first, Louis is installing a 700bhp, 440cid/7.2L long-block from Golen Engine Service based on an RHS - Racing Head Service Aluminum Race engine block, loaded with MAHLE 4.125" forged pistons, Callies Performance Products Comp Star connecting rods, Callies Dragon Slayer 4.125" crankshaft, Trick Flow Specialties LS7 based CNC ported cylinder heads with Pac Performancevalve springs & titanium retainers, COMP Cams custom camshaft, Melling Performance Parts engine oil pump, then he's installing an MSD Performance Atomic Air Force intake manifold, Nick Williams 102mm throttle body, Stainless Works long-tube headers, Halltech Systems, LLC KillerBee II intake system, aluminum propeller shaft, ZR1 couplers, Level-V T56, and Stage-III differential from RPM TransmissionsMantic Clutch USA 9000-series twin-disc clutch & flywheel assembly, a custom return-style fuel system utilizing components from RacetronixFragola Performance SystemsRadium EngineeringDeWitts Radiator crossflow aluminum radiator, with all the odds-and-ends to bring it all together.
